The purpose of this blog is both to add commentary to a range of current events as well as to solicit feedback and questions about those topics. As I've told family and friends, I intend to run for political office in the future and can see a blog as an opportunity to build a platform and a base. This first post is merely and introduction of my purpose along with an initial opportunity to become familiar with the format of this blog.
